Ukrainian and Finnish artists created these works for Aurora4UA ry —
not as an illustration of events,
but as a response to them.
Not from the news.
But from the inner silence.

For some, Ukraine is flowers that bloom despite everything.
For some, it is a light in the window.
For some, it is a line on the horizon beyond which one wants to live.
For some, it is land that remembers the warmth of feet.
For some, it is words that have survived time.
And for some, it is a memory of happiness one would like to return to.

There is no war in these paintings.
There is hope in these paintings!

When, in times of war, a person paints light —
it is not an escape.
It is a form of love.
It is a way to say:
“I am here. I live. I remember.”
