“Textures” is a psychological and philosophical collection of artworks exploring human moods and emotional states as the ‘textures’ of personality. This exhibition invites viewers to reflect on how their current mood or psychological state shapes the way they are perceived by others. It also asks if we really match the expectations that others have of us. Who are we, without these layers of emotions and states that cover our true self? The artist encourages an inner dialogue about authenticity and identity. “Textures” is a journey to look beyond the surface (and to understand what comes to the surface) and discover what is hidden inside.

Nataliia Burmaka (Ukraine/Finland) is a poet and an artist. Her works were shown in exhibitions in Finland and Ukraine, and were featured in magazines such as Welter, Phoebe, Rednoisecollective, Arboreal, 805 lit, Full House Literary etc.

She is member of Catalysti association (transcultural artists based in Finland) and National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.

The exhibition is open during the opening hours of Restaurant Villa Rana and in the events.
